$1 Trillion Opportunity

This chart based on a report from Morgan Stanley grabbed my attention this week:

Five public companies alone are likely to be spending over $1 trillion in capital expenditures in 2027!

Was curious to understand which states would benefit the most from such a large capital outlay. I asked Gemini, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex to provide me the top 5 states that would be the winners and why, while they didn’t agree completely on the top 5, all three services listed the following states in their rankings, here is the summary:

Many cities and residents are likely to benefit financially from the AI boom , so that is welcome news in a time when the chatter about AI has mixed opinions.
