Happy Tuesday Brex Community,

As both a Salesforce and Claude active and power user, this was an exciting announcement for me and likely many others in GTM roles. As many are aware, the UI of Salesforce is not where it needs to be (and it's uncertain if it will ever improve dramatically), and users have been forced to find better interfaces to interact with the critical data that resides in that CRM. I use Scratchpad, HEX, Looker, etc., as ways to visualize the data that I feel is most critical to my role. However, those applications do take time to implement, to pull custom reports, and they still lack the full functionality that users need. The ideal vision of using Salesforce is to never be in Salesforce but in easier interfaces like Claude, which have access to multiple plugins/MCPs. I want to run quick queries, run agents, and pull ad hoc reports by using a prompt box. If Claudeforce delivers on the hype they announced, there is going to be increased efficiency in organizations and less complaining about having to use Salesforce; it would be a big win. My hope is that it is not just a splashy PR release for both Salesforce, which has a lot of pressure to incorporate AI into their product, and for Anthropic, which is looking to gain market share going into an IPO. Let's see how it unfolds, but I’m optimistic and can’t wait to try it out.
