Happy Tuesday Brex community,

When preparing for a VC meeting, especially for your first institutional investor, your objective is to create a lasting impact. Logical arguments alone won’t cut it; you need to ignite their passion so the VC decides to embark on a potentially decade-long partnership. VCs sift through pitches from 2-6 ambitious founders daily. By week’s end, it’s a competition for their attention. The founder who sparks emotional excitement wins that first meeting. To do this, focus on two critical questions: “Why Me?” and “Why Now?”

On a related note of "Why Me?" and "Why Now?" we're excited to add to the team and are looking for great people! We're hiring 3 relationship managers ASAP in either SF or NYC. This role involves engaging with early and growth-stage startup clients of Brex. The ideal candidate has customer success experience, loves startups, is customer-obsessed, and understands product-led growth (PLG) motions.
