Startup of the Week 🤩 

Jake Soffer Founder and CEO of FirmPilot 

FirmPilot embeds the entire activity set of a human marketing agency into a single-click solution, driven by its proprietary AI Marketing Execution Engine. With an initial focus on generating more clients for law firms, FirmPilot automates the research, creation, and publishing of demand-generation content. They've been able to save clients an average of $30K/year in marketing costs while generating 2x as many leads due to their use of domain knowledge, competitor intelligence, and trend data. The company raised a $2M seed round in late 2023, and is already preparing to raise its Series-A round of funding given its rapid growth.

Ambassador’s perspective: Vertical AI will impact some sectors quicker than others, and Legal Tech stands at the forefront. The market is characterized by an consistent buyer profile, rapid ROI, easy integrations, and growing budgets. Jake, a 2x founder, has founder market fit with a personal mission to build in this space. The jump in technology adoption among small law firms from 6% to 18% from ‘22 to ‘23 is just the beginning. Given FirmPilot's surging demand, folks should be watching closely!

Emerging Manager Spotlight 🤩 

Selah Ventures Founder & Managing Partner Adi Levanon

Selah Ventures is a female-founded early stage VC fund investing in the broad definition of fintech - "hard fintech" (the unraveling of financial services via digitization and customization, mainly money movement) and "soft fintech" (the enhancement of financial organizations such as banks, insurers, enterprise, fintechs and SMBs via complementary technologies). They invest at the pre-seed/seed stage and look for excellent teams of Israelis and Americans building and scaling in the USA.

As a solo GP, Adi Levanon, brings a track record of investing early in successful fintechs (Alloy, Unit, Justt, Tweed and more), now focusing on workflow efficiencies, big data governance, the transfer of ownership and security for b2b financial transactions. The fund had its first close in February 2023, has made 5 investments and raised over 75% of the fund with the target fund size at $15M.
