Happy Tuesday Brex community,

Biased author here, but it is worth highlighting that 4 of the top 11 investors on the Midas Seed List are based in Miami. While I personally believe a startup can be funded and scaled from nearly any ecosystem, there's a critical mass happening in Miami.

This begs the question, what makes an ecosystem? Is it the capital returned to angels and early employees who invest it back into future founders from the same company? Is it the number of publicly traded companies? Is it the presence of labs and research institutions?

I'd love to hear from you on what makes an ecosystem - and where you think Brex needs to show up this summer.
