Going up on a Tuesday 🚀 Despite our recent State of the US Early-Stage Venture & Startups Report in partnership with AngelList noting that 2Q23 was: “The worst quarter ever for startup dealmaking,” the Twitterverse (or X verse? 🤔 …weird) tells us that VCs are still writing checks and leading rounds (100+ firms to be exact); which is great for our founder community.

The upside is that per our new Head of Startups Jason Mok, we’re seeing that founders are more focused than ever on financial discipline to extend runway and are honing in on the real business drivers.
